Birthday Parties

Participants 3-9 years old

A picnic area is available for your use.

You can have maximum 20 children in a party.

The entry to the park is free for adults or children not participating in the activities.

Possibility to hire the whole children course for 2 hours. Price is $400 and the course can take up to 20 children. Please contact the office by email or phone.

CHILDREN UNDER 10 YEAR OLD PARTY BOOKING CONDITIONS
• You can book online from our booking page. Alternatively you can book and pay by ringing us on 02 4026 7617 or email newcastle@ttap.com.au. Payment can be made by credit card or direct debit (the office will check availability and let you know the amount to pay and account details). Please make sure you quote the reference number given by staff with your payment.
• The children are kept safe with harnesses on a continuous belay system and supervised by instructors. We do require adults to supervise (and encourage) the children from the ground. If they require assistance staff can access the course and help or lower them down.
• Party bookings are available at 09:30, 11:30, 13:30 and 15:30 and run for approximately 2 hours (1 ½ hours on the course and ½ hour of getting into and out of gear). It is essential for participants to arrive IN TIME for the event, as the course has limited capacity. If the group is late, the children might have less time on the course to prevent impact on participants later in the day.
• No food is to be consumed by the children while in their harnesses.
• It is preferred if the parents sign the waiver form. When you book we will email you a copy of the waiver form.
• Blue Gum Hills Regional Park offers barbecues and picnic areas, as well as a very nice playground including a maze. You might want to hold your party there after the children have finished in the tree tops.
• The kiosk sells a range of drinks but no food is available on site. A take away shop is available 500 metres from the park.
• Enclosed shoes must be worn and jewellery removed.
• Themed invitations are available to download (see below).

Participants 10-15 years old

Children within this age group require ON COURSE supervision (not from the ground) at the ratio of 1 adult per 4 youths, except for juniors over 16 years old.
